Camping Out

Our girls were supposed to share a room when Becca went to the crib, obviously 6 months later it did not work!!  For the last 6 months Sarah Anne has been sleeping upstairs (with heat or air running since the air vents don't run up there).  It has gone great, until last night when the weather decided to hit 12.  I DESPISE cold weather and was not  a fan!!  Needless to say, with heaters and everything else we felt a little unsure about her sleeping up there!  Matt and I decided to make it a fun place for her to sleep and set up a "camp out" for her in the dining room.  We made hamburgers and had a picnic, told stories and played in there.  We also did our devotion that we have started for the year.  Sarah Anne loved doing the chains (she calls them changes) with the verses on them and wanted to continue.  So we worked and have a verse/verses everyday.  This year we are doing the Fruits of the Spirit and January is love.  We decided once a week (Mondays) we would do a lesson to go with the topic, so yesterday at the camp out we did our first lesson on love.  We had a huge cookie cake (God's love) and smaller cookies (our love) to show how much more God loves us than we can love.  Sarah Anne is still talking how much greater God's love is.  She also almost cried when we ate some of the cookie cake and said "OH NO!  God didn't keep His promise!"  We quickly explained it was just an example and God's love never fails.  Ok, sorry I wrote a lot here are the camp out pictures!!

I am ready for the camp out!!
