Birthday and Bonus Money

Sarah Anne had some birthday and Bubby "Bonus Money" that she has been ready to spend for a few weeks.  A few weeks ago I was getting everyone ready so that Sarah Anne could go buy something with her money.  While I was getting dressed, she decided to rip up a library book, so sadly instead of buying something she wanted we used her money to go buy the library book.  She was nervous going in and said, "They are going to fuss at me Mama".  They did not fuss at her though and they actually felt really bad for her.  But, since we were supposed to use the money that day she understood the consequences for her actions and is very sorry and will tell ANYONE that we do not rip books!  So today we finally got to go shopping for her "baby doll".  She had one of my old purses (that she filled with gum, fruit snacks, and her money).  We had to go a few places so she was very entertained, but we finally made it to Toys R Us where she got "twin" baby dolls.

I am ready to shop!!

Baby Becca gets to told the purse too!!

Love my sweet girls!!

Let's shop!!

Giving Money to Jesus

We are not the best at pictures, but we decided to take a few before church.  I have to say we are SO blessed to be part of such a wonderful church.  Our girls are already growing and being pointed to Christ.  Matt and I have started teaching Sarah Anne about offering and the importance of giving to Jesus first.  As we were talking about it she put her money against her chest and said, "But Mama, how do I put this money in my heart to give it to Jesus?"  In that moment Matt and I realized that the consistency of teaching our girls about Christ and having them in places that show and teach God's love is SO important.  So when she came home she told us so proudly that she had given Jesus her money.

Ready to go with her money!!
