Day #18 and Making Homemade Ornaments

This afternoon we decided to make some homemade ornaments.  Sarah Anne was SO excited to roll out the dough and cut it out with cookie cutters.  We were excited that her Daddy got to be a part of some of our holiday adventures too!!  So....here are our ornament adventures and Day #18 of being thankful.  (Can I just say her turkey is HUGE)

Ready to cook!!  (Look at that cute Mimi apron!)

Keep doing it Daddy, I'll smile at the camera!

And then we have Day #18...

Thankful for Nathan Rice.  (She really comes up with these all by herself, I wouldn't even begin to know where she comes up with them!)

All the feathers so far!!

And as always whoever takes her picture, must also take their picture with the turkey!!

Day #17 and Festival of Trees

Today we decided to do things a little differently.  We went to the mall, went to the Children's Hospital Fundraiser Festival of Trees, and went to Mellow Mushroom.  I have to say as we went through the trees, that I am SO thankful that we only have to follow up on Sarah Anne's kidneys every 6 months.  We had to use the Children's Hospital for a week when Sarah Anne was sick for a week and although I am so thankful it is there I am so extremely grateful that God has kept our girl healthy where we don't have to visit the hospital on a regular basis.  I rarely think about that time (no Mom wants to think about their baby in the hospital), but today it was nice to reflect on how far God has brought us and how blessed with are with a healthy girl (soon to be girls)!!  Well, here is our day and Day #17!

Day #17...Thankful for juice

I get my picture too!

Hirschmann Family Reunion

This weekend we were able to get together with my Dad's family at James Island County Park to celebrate my Grandparent's 60th Wedding Anniversary.  They are such a wonderful example of a strong marriage and we are so blessed to have them as such an active part of our lives.  We spent time with family, eating, playing with cousins, and in the evenings time at the Christmas lights.  It was wonderful and Sarah Anne enjoyed every minute of it!!
