"Irmo's Water Park"

I grew up with the beach and real water parks and now living in the middle of South Carolina we don't have any of it really.  The lake is close and we have Saluda Shoals "Splash Pad", but its definitely not the same.  I think that's why I've held off on taking Sarah Anne until TODAY.  Let's just say we will be frequenting there more often now.  Sarah Anne LOVED it and despite the 15 bus loads of kids (slight exaggeration but not really) it really was fun.

Side Note: Sarah Anne has another UTI, we're not really sure what this means, but her doctors didn't really seem overly concerned.  She of course just keeps on going and if it weren't for my overly paranoia we probably would have missed it for longer.  As a result, it has made me really thankful for the sweet, healthy child that she normally is.  Each morning this week, I've stopped her and we've held hands and prayed thanking God for the wonderful precious gift that she is from Him.  She has the sweetest most bubbly wonderful personality and I truly am so thankful to be her Mother.

Ok back to Saluda Shoals.  Here are the pictures....

RecLife

Our church's recreation program had a fun day and had "jump houses" and food.  We didn't need anything else!!  Thankfully we went in the afternoon and it was pretty empty.  Sarah Anne got to bounce from house to house and basically jumped for an hour and a half straight.  She got super excited when her friends showed up and she got to play even longer with them.  We are so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful, outreaching church and tonight we really enjoyed their event!!

I'm ready to GO!!!

The first jumping house...

She went around and hugged each of the "people"

The lady told Matt he could get in there with her....

How to be a Fox!!

Tonight at dinner, Sarah Anne says, "Up steps, get cup, then you put on nose, and be a fox".  It took me about 10 times that I had her repeat it before Matt busts out laughing.  Apparently when they go upstairs they found the cups (leftover from our carnival) and put them on to become foxes.  So as I was loading the pictures from the other blog, I see Matt peek down the stairs, I figure the "foxes" are coming so I grab the camera.  Sure enough down came the "Daddy and Big Girl Fox".  So in case you ever need to know what it looks like to be a fox here you go....

ATTACK OF THE FOXES!!!

Discussing foxish things.

A Visit from Mamie!!

Amy came for a quick visit and we made the most of it!!  Despite the rain, we headed to the Zoo and had a good time.  The field trips keep messing us up every time we go with friends during the week, but it was ok.  After the Zoo we headed to Target for a snack, then Moo to grab some lunch.  We had a great time, but as always it goes WAY TO FAST!!!  So here are the pictures from our day!

She comes out and proudly says, "I'M READY FOR THE ZOO!!"  (Notice, still pajamas and her red ruby shoes!)

Dressed correctly and at the zoo!
