Last Few Days as 3!!

We are trying to enjoy our time as just our family of 3, but also super excited about becoming a family of 4!! Sunday, I found on Pinterest an idea about numbering balloons 1-10 and hiding them around the house.  I decided to take it a step further and attached an activity to each one and Sarah Anne went around the house finding the balloons in the correct order and then complete the activity as she went.  So she got to practice her numbers and we got to do fun things as a family.  Here are the balloons/activities #1-10.

We have enjoyed these last few days and have tried to make them special.  Of course Sarah Anne decided to get sick and has an ear infection in both ears, but we are thankful we caught it so that she can come enjoy time with her baby sister!!  Our lives will all change on Wednesday, but we look forward to what God has in store for us as we add sweet Rebecca Anne to our lives!!

Christmas 2012

Ok, we should be all caught up after this post.  We were VERY excited to actually be able to celebrate Christmas.  Sarah Anne got the flu the week before, which turned into pneumonia, in which her lung function was 6 points away from putting her in the hospital.  NOT A FUN TIME.  The poor baby was up from midnight Friday night until 6:00 pm Saturday at which point after 3 antibiotics and breathing treatments she knocked out.  Thankfully by Christmas Eve she was all better and had been fever free over 48 hours so we were able to move on with our plans.  My family had already planned on coming to our house so that worked well.  Our church does an AMAZING job with the children's Christmas Eve service and we were honored to be the family they chose to light the Advent candle.  Sarah Anne LOVED watching the 6th graders perform the story of Jesus' birth and also singing along with the Christmas carols.  It was PERFECT and was topped off by seeing her buddies and some animals.

SO EXCITED about the glow lights.

Birthday Party for Jesus

This is a tradition that my parents did with my sister and I and I love continuing it with our girls!!  We played games, read the story of Jesus' birth, the kids brought "presents" to give to Jesus that they in turn gave to each other, and of course we had cupcakes and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus!  It was really neat.

Christmas Prep 2012

So since we are way behind I am trying to slowly go back and update what we did for Christmas!  This is a lot of random things, but it is us getting ready for Christmas, going to the Zoo Lights, and going to our friend's house to celebrate Christmas with breakfast for dinner and our pj's!  It was a LOT of fun although apparently I didn't take a ton of pictures.  Here is what we have....
