HE IS RISEN

We have had a wonderful Easter!  I found that I reflected a lot on the precious gift God gave us in the sacrifice of His Son, while I am so unworthy!  We have tried to explain this to Sarah Anne in 3 year old terms and I am so thankful for a church that also teaches them.  After church Sarah Anne walked down the hall shouting, 1, 2, 3 HE IS ALIVE!!  It is so wonderful.  So this Easter, we went to our first egg hunt yesterday at Irmo Park, Nanny came for a visit, then for Easter we went to church, went to Outback with our Irmo family the Gaineys, came here for an Egg Hunt and dessert, and are now settled in for the big Duke game!  It has been a wonderful day rejoicing that our Lord and Savior was not in His tomb, but is alive and has conquered death!!

WHERE ARE WE GOING?!?!?!  And this is my 2 month old in a 6 month outfit!!

Let's go hunt some eggs big sister!!

Ok, I'm a little afraid but let's go!

Update

So sadly we have had the flu.  Before it showed up in Sarah Anne, she had her friend Kaitlin come and play with her and LOVED it!!  They cleaned up her house outside and then they decorated it very nicely.  I loved having someone older than her play with her and teach her how to play things like house.  March Madness has started too and this year each member of our family has a bracket... The winner gets to pick where dinner is.  We each picked our brackets, then took turns picking Baby Becca, rotating games to pick.  Right now it is Matt or I based on the Louisville/Duke game...we shall see!!

And then our sweet little Baby Becca is not so babyish!!  At her 2 month check-up, she is 23 inches long (grown over 2 inches since birth) and is 12 pounds 2 and 1/2 ounces (gained 3.4 ounces).  She had a sick visit on a Tuesday and weighed 12 pounds even with her shirt and diaper on, two days later she had gained 2 and a half ounces with NOTHING on!  Our girl is growing!  She is smiling and so happy and sweet.  Her sister adores her and the feeling is mutual.  At about 7 weeks she rolled over by pulling on her Daddy's finger and even when she is on her tummy she wants to MOVE!  It is quite crazy.  So here are a few pictures from March...

ALL CLEAN!!

Such a sad face, but I think she is SO SWEET!!!
