D&D

Last night we did our D&D group a little bit different and headed to Saluda Shoals for a picnic.  It was really fun and most importantly Sarah Anne got to play with her friend Molly!!  There were ducks, fish, turtles, playing, fishing, and lots of fun with friends.  Here are the few pictures that I took...

I'm ready for the PARK!!!

Such sweet friends holding hands!!

Watching the fishing!

Looking at the worms.  (Notice Sarah Anne safely has her hands behind her back)

Molly ready to hold it, Sarah Anne still with her hands behind her back!

These are very interesting from a distance....

WHEEE!!!!

Down goes Molly!!

Here Daddy, let me come help you fish!!

Night with the Normans

So life has been CRAZY and we finally had a weekend to ourselves and loved every minute of it.  Saturday started with a 5 mile run for me (Matt forgot the camera), then came home, Sarah Anne took a 3 hour nap (a record these days), and then our fun Saturday night began!!

We headed to the park!!!

Our big girl getting some help climbing!!

WHEEEE!!!

Chasing down our girl!!

Then we headed to the library to get a movie to watch while we ate dinner from Moes!!

Matt decided we needed to park on the street...

and hike up the hill, despite the fact that there were NO CARS in the parking lot.

After the dinner and movie, we headed outside to play!!

I have no idea!!

Then did some dancing!!

Look at that sweet girl!!

It was a WONDERFUL night that ended with popcorn, Sarah Anne's new favorite!!

A Letter To Nanny and Bubby

Dear Nanny and Bubby,

Since my Mommy and Daddy won't decide when I will see you next I decided to send you some pictures of how much I've changed since you saw me 5 days ago on Monday.  I am a very big girl now and I don't want you to miss a minute of it, so I will send you these letters until I can see you again.

Mommy and I have learned to put my hair in pigtails

and I am VERY pleased by this!!

I can swing on the big girl swing, although its a little scary!!

I go down the slide all by myself!!!

I hang out on the top of the slide.

Sometimes I like to dance before I go down the slide.

I ride my tricycle while laying down.

I'm a really fast runner with my fast shoes!!

I count while Mommy hides.

Then I can hide (Mommy took this picture from where she was counting)

I only peek a little when I count.

Hiding again...can't see me right?

SURPRISE!!

So as you can see I have changed a lot in 5 days!!  I really hope that I can see you soon.

I love you!
Love,
Sarah Anne

Ponytail Girl!!

So after a crazy busy week we decided to take an off day and spend the day at home.  We were dancing and playing and I went and put my hair in a ponytail.  My sweet baby decided she wanted to try it too so we did.  Sure enough my sweet girl FINALLY has hair long enough for a ponytail.  It wasn't perfect, but it was ADORABLE...So here is what the ponytail girl and I did!!

My sweet girl's ponytail!!

Look at that cute girl!!

Here, would you like something to eat?

Bunny hopping across the room!!

My big jumper!!

Being pouty....

My sweet girl!!

Warming up her arm to throw the ball....

then it rolled under the bed!

Look at that cute hair!!

Blowing some bubbles!!

And we end with that sweet smile!!

When the Buses Arrive....

Well we attempted to go to the Zoo yesterday and there were probably 30 buses with a TON of people.  If you know me, you know I avoid crowds at all cost!!  But since we promised the girls we would go we had to follow through.  We stayed for about an hour and it really wasn't that bad, but after that we decided to head to the park.  There was of course a field trip there also, but these teachers were PREPARED!!  As a former teacher I greatly appreciated them having entertainment for their kids so that my sweet girl could have the playground to herself!!  We had our picnic lunch there and it was perfect!!

My sweet girl ready to GO!!!

Informing Molly about the kangaroos

CHEESE!!!

Throwing dirt at the baby monkey

Then WHEEEE at the park!!

At first she was brave and was going to talk to the squirrel like Mrs. Lindsey did, but then she ran away....

Climbing...

Thank you Matt and Wes for teaching my child to climb EVERYTHING!!  (Although she really does climb it well)

Friends sliding!

Molly driving!!

Then it was time to go!!!
