Snow and Valentines Day

We had an extra 3 days with Matt again because it SNOWED again!! It was really fun and made for a great Valentine's Day. This year for Valentines we drew names and went and got gifts for each other and everyone had to make Valentines for everyone in the family. We made boxes to collect our gifts and Valentines and thankfully went shopping before the storm so we had gifts for everyday. We opened them all with a tea party. It was a really special way to show how much we loved each other and helped make it special before our big girls 4th birthday!! Becca was sick most of the week so she and I stayed inside but Matt and SA had a BLAST out in the snow. They made snowmen and went sledding. She cannot wait for snow again!!

Rebecca Anne

Our precious Rebecca Anne turned 1 a few weeks ago and it AMAZES me how big she has gotten in such a short amount of time!! Our big girl now walks and says, "Mama, Daddy, Daharan (Sarah Anne), hi, bye, mine, and several other things! At the doctor she was 30 inches long and weighed 23 pounds 3 ounces and her Daddy sized head 18 1/2 inches. She wears a pretty solid 24 months. Becca LOVES to laugh and recently has gotten into dancing (probably because her sister only ever wants to watch musical like shows) and dances around and giggles ALL the time! It snowed the day before her birthday so it kinda threw our family plans for her birthday, BUT she got an extra 2 and a half days with her Daddy because of the snow! Then we went to Myrtle Beach for her birthday with my Mom (Bubby was supposed to be there but he had to work :-(). We have made it a tradition to take a birthday trip for 1st birthday parties. Sarah Anne got to go to Disney World and Becca got to go to Myrtle Beach. Honestly, I think Becca enjoyed hers more she got to go in the water and it was like a giant warm bath tub! We got a GREAT deal where we stayed in a 3 bedroom suite with a kitchen so we were able to stay in the hotel the whole time and made all our meals and everything there. It was AMAZING!! Both girls LOVED it and loved having Nanny!!
