Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!!  After this I think we will be all caught up from the Normans 2014 Holiday Season...just in time for 2015!  Mama came down December 30th and Matt and I were able to go on a date to our favorite pizza place "Tony's Pizzalicious" and to the USC basketball game.  We had an amazing time and it was a nice break from our sweet, but sick babies.  Our sweet girls cannot stay up until midnight, so last year we started a tradition where we "count down" the New Year at 12:00 pm on New Year's Day.  We start around 8:30 and do different activities until we watch the recorded ball drop and celebrate the New Year.  This year we played Minute to Win it games, baked a cake (for a later fondue dipping), read our favorite things we had recorded from 2013 and wrote our new ones for 2014, made shakers, did a scavenger hunt of our year in pictures, danced, and had a really fun time.  It is fun to see how much the girls have grown and to continue to make memories celebrating the new year with them.  So here are our New Year pictures:

My beautiful girl loves to take pictures of herself.

Christmas 2014

We were able to be at home for Christmas this  year and it was wonderful.  We went to our church for  the Christmas Eve Service which was wonderful as always.  They made a huge snowman at the beginning which distracted Becca who would periodically yell out "Froffy" (Frosty) throughout the whole service.  We got to visit with friends for a few minutes and it was wonderful.  Then we came back home and put on pj's and ate nachos and each unwrapped one present.  We laid out cookies and Mountain Dew for Santa and then went to bed.  The next day we opened presents and had an easy going day as we played with toys and cleaned up.  It was a wonderful Christmas and the girls are at such a fun age!!
