School for Becca

So we are about to start our journey into homeschooling for Kindergarten and along the way we want to incorporate our sweet Becca also.  We started doing little activities today and went over the color red and talking about Creation!  I told Sarah Anne she would be the assistant and that meant that she would not be able to give all the answers.  She immediately understood and when we started and Becca immediately ran to the bathroom to play the drums (SA was in charge of school set up) she said oh I am Mrs. Siemers, I got this, and went in, clapped her hands and said, "Now Becca we need to sit down and listen to Mommy".  It was really fun and we sang songs, read books, and looked at red things.  I am also including Sarah Anne's school project that we did with our interview books.  We have been working on the pages (she traced and wrote the pages and colored the pictures) for several weeks and finally completed the books!  I didn't take a picture of everyone's pages, but we included some from everyone!  So here are the pictures..

My very stylish baby...bracelets and glasses.  This child also must ALWAYS carry a purse anywhere we go!!  I do not know how I ended up with these girls that love dressing up and accessories but I am so thankful for them!

So sassy!

What?  Don't you have 45 bracelets? (And please not she read all 100 books she has dumped on the floor)

Ready for school

Singing....

Then immediately to the drums...

The assistant explaining what needed to be done then

The assistant sitting nicely and listening

Singing "This Little Light of Mine"

"Don't let Satan blow it out"

Then we had center time and she went to the bathroom for our music center apparently!

Playing along!

Sis sis doing puzzles!

Where people grew up

What they ate...

How they got around

Favorite toy

Wood or brick houses

Who lived in their house

Did you have a phone or t.v.?

Where they shopped

The final product!!

This was my most favorite project we have done and is such a special memory!  Sarah Anne asked when she can take them to show the people their special books!
