Truly Thankful This Thanksgiving

We have SO much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!  I know that I won't even begin to cover everyone or everything, but I wanted to take a minute to give thanks.

First of all, nothing would be possible without God.  He is truly the one that has blessed me and if it were not for the sacrifice of his Son, I would not have any of the wonderful things that I have!

I am SO THANKFUL for my wonderful husband.  He is the most patient, most gracious, most wonderful man and I am so thankful to have him as my husband and as a father to our sweet girl.  I know there would be no one who could put up with me the way that he does!

I am beyond thankful for my sweet little girl!!  Sarah Anne is ful of energy and so so SO much fun.  We stay on the go, but she is the most easy going sweet girl around.  I adore her and am very thankful that I have the opportunity to stay home with her!!

My Mom is another person I am so thankful for.  She is such a Godly woman and I strive to be just half the Mother she was.  She is an amazing Mother and is a beyond amazing Grandmother!!  Sarah Anne keeps her on her toes, but she always keeps up with her and goes and goes with her!  In the same way, I am SO thankful for my Daddy.  He is always taking care of everyone and is one of the most giving people I know.  He always makes sure his "Skabootie" has everything she needs and Sarah Anne adores her Buddy.  I am so blessed to have such wonderful parents that are commited to their marriage and have been married for over 30 years.  They are a wonderful example of wonderful parents, spouses, and grandparents.

My sister is a one of a kind blessing that I adore.  I prayed for her for many years and after almost 5 years was blessed with my wonderful sister (and first student).  She is one of my very  best friend and no matter how long its been, I know I can always call her and she is there for me and vice versa.  She is a wonderful "Mamie" to Sarah Anne and even though she doesn't see her very often, Sarah Anne still knows who her Mamie is!  I love you Amy Lynn!

My Grandparents are another huge blessing.  I am very thankful that I have been able to get to know all four of my Grandparents and Sarah Anne has gotten to know her Great-Grandparents.  My entire life Grandma, Grandaddy, Nana, and Pops have not just been here, but they were always very active in my life.  In the same way, Sarah Anne has gotten to know them very early on.  Both sets came and took care of Sarah Anne while I went back to work.  It is amazing that they can all travel and come and see our sweet girl and be such an active part of her life.

As I said before I am thankful that I have the opportunity to stay home with Sarah Anne.  However, when I had to finish my school year I was amazed at how much our family was able to step up and fill in the "gaps" to take care of our girl.  Sarah Anne had her Grandparents, Great-Grandparents, and Nanny Team take care of her.  I am so thankful for all my family members, but especially that "Nanny Team" and the blessing that they continue to be!  Aunt Julia and Aunt Alice I will alway be thankful for you coming and caring for our sweet girl!

As I said before, there is so much to be thankful for.  Family, wonderful friends, our church that has joined with us to raise our sweet girl!  I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!
