Boston in the Fall

Matt and I had the opportunity to go to Boston in November and we HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who hasn't been.  The city is absolutely gorgeous and while it's large, it does not feel that way at all and the people are very nice.  I think we were expecting it to be like NYC where people are rude, but it was not that way at all (which shouldn't surprise me since Nana is from there and she is not rude at all!!).  There is a Veggie Tale song that talks about, "never been to Boston in the fall" and the entire time I was there it rolled through my head and I realized I could never sing it again!  We were able to walk (the weather was crisp but perfect) and see lots of historical things and also took a Harbor Cruise.  If you haven't ever been to Boston PLEASE GO!  (Especially flying Southwest my ticket was only $160 round trip.  We also used the Boston Go Card through Groupon, which is where you can visit as many places as you can in a day. We tried a few extra places we probably would have never gone, but were part of the deal

Waiting for the plane

The leaves were BEAUTIFUL!

The Make Way for Duckling ducks

The Capitol Building

Where the Declaration of Independence was first read in Boston

The Harvard Natural History Museum.  It was WAY better than we thought.
Becca loves rocks so we took a picture

The Skywalk Observatory was probably our favorite. The view was AMAZING and we went at sunset so it was truly breathtaking.

Fenway

Paul Revere's home

Bunker Hill

USS Constitution

Our Harbor Cruise.  It was amazing and we learned a lot more about Boston

This was after our SPRINT through the airport.  We got to skip the HUGE line because we had a 7:20 flight, but still had to run as we made it 1 minute before they opened the plane up to standby tickets.

Our favorite site when we got home!

We were so glad to be back with our babies!
