My precious big girl turned 6 (about 3 months ago) and we had an amazing time celebrating. Sarah Anne is beautiful, kind-hearted, bubbly, a very quick learner, desires to please others, super inquisitive, and is always seeking out to know the exact plan and reason behind things. Although I cannot believe that she is 6, I love that I get to spend every day as her Mama, which is a privilege that I don't take lightly.
For her 6th birthday, we went to Matt's Dad's surprise birthday celebration so she had to share her special weekend. We had planned to go to Charlotte, but at the last minute changed our minds and headed to Mt. Airy. Sarah Anne had recently started watching the Andy Griffith Show and was THRILLED to go and see where it was filmed, the museum, and we went to a place with a soda jerk. We had an amazing time and made such fun memories. Then we went to Matt's sister's house and waited for his Dad and celebrated his birthday. The girls LOVED playing with their cousins.
Sarah Anne's birthday was also on a day my Mom had off so she came up and was able to spend Sarah Anne's actual day with us. We went to HiWire and had an amazing day!
