Last month our sweet group of friends got together to make Valentines for those in a nursing home. My sweet friend Laura graciously opened up her home to our group and we organized 18 sweet kiddos to make cards, flower bouquets, and tissue paper hearts. It really worked smoothly and was a wonderful time for our kids to learn the meaning of serving. Today we went and delivered the Valentines to the nursing home and it was a very fun, special experience. The sweet ladies absolutely loved seeing all the kids and kept commenting on how beautiful they all were. In reality we only took about 20 minutes out of our day, but the impact it had was powerful for us. The gratitude each of them had and even the staff appreciating us being there was so fulfilling. It is amazing how much God can fill you while you are giving and serving. Sadly not everyone was able to make it to both, but we still delivered all of the Valentines. So here are our pictures of our January/February service project:

Visiting with the sweet ladies
We had to convince them not to give their Valentines to just the first 2 people we saw.
The keyboard was the highlight for the kids!
This sweet lady loved meeting the kids and learning their names and hugging them!

So thankful for these sweet kiddos and their Mama's who have such servant's hearts. One day I will remember to take a picture with the Mamas also!
