Life with the Normans: The Fresh Beat Band Concert

Sarah Anne has been a Fresh Beat Band fan for over a year now. She loves to sing and dance so this show is PERFECT for her. Back in August Matt found out they would be in Columbia and we bough tickets. It was SO hard not to tell her, but we made it until the day of the concert. We weren' sure at the time we bought the tickets that Becca would love it, but she has learned all the songs and she was thrilled to see "A Kiki Show". Poor Sarah Anne was sick, she still LOVED it!! We made sure she had her cough medicine and other than 2 songs where she had a little break she danced and sang the WHOLE time and wore herself out and fell asleep in the car. Our friends the Gaineys were there and they got called out and got to MEET the Fresh Beat Band! It was an amazing time and I told Matt I like the girls having one big Christmas present that involves a family activity. Other than being sick, it really was a fun time and was a special memory for us and our sweet girls.

We started out way in the back, but after the intermission moved a lot closer since there weren't a ton of people.

Becca was very nervous when they first started, but once they started singing the songs she knew she started dancing and jumping in my lap. (She didn't get down until we switched seats and then she could really see their faces and she was SO excited!!)
