18 Months a Month Later....

So I am only a month late in updating about our big girl, but better late than never right?  Becca is SO much bigger than Sarah Anne was at this age further proving how different God has made each child.  Becca is much more shy than Sarah Anne ever was and is a climber.  She is a very busy girl and is into everything.  That being said she actually does sit and likes to put things in and out of bowls or other fine motor things.  She is also a cheese ball and knows how to ham it up when she feels the need to put on a show!!  Both girls although different are amazing and we are thankful that God has blessed us with them.  So here are Becca's statistics compared to Sarah Anne's (I had to ask the doctor for Sarah Anne's, so I figure I better put them both in here so that I will at least have a copy for the future!!):

Becca:
Height: 35 inches
Weight: 28.6 pounds
Head: 19 inches

Sarah Anne:
Height: 32 inches
Weight: 25.5 pounds
Head: 18.5 inches

So here are some pictures to show both girls at 18 months.  It's crazy I convince myself they don't look that much alike, then I realize I am WRONG:

Road Trip to Charleston!!

So my Mama and Daddy had Wednesday off and Dora was going to be at Splash Zone so I decided to take the girls on a road trip!!  We were going to leave Tuesday, but decided to go Monday to see Pops and check on him.  So we packed up early Monday (really Sunday night) and headed out Monday.  We stopped at Chick-Fil-A in Orangeburg for breakfast and to play and break up the trip, then we went to Splash Zone for awhile, and then to Mimi and Uncle Todd's to visit with Gigi and Pops, eat dinner, and swim in the pool!  It was a great day.  Then Tuesday I took both girls to Charles Towne Landing to explore.  The temperature was 88 but at 9:30 in the morning it felt like 99 so it was HOT!!!  But despite the heat, we had a great time!  The girls took turns in the stroller but between the 2 of them they walked about 3 miles!!  Then our last day we went to Splash Zone and both girls LOVE to swim.  Becca loves to swim and float with her puddle jumper on and now likes to "jump" into the pool.  She also LOVES to go down the slide.  Sarah Anne now does all the slides quite well and enjoys swimming independently with her goggles  It was a great time although we missed Matt!!

Still look sleepy.
