Cow Day 2014

So it was Chick Fil A Cow Day again and this year we decided to really commit.  I sewed patches on shirts so we will always have them and made "ears" out of ribbon.  It was amazing and our girls loved it!!  Ok really they just love the idea of eating out and we love the idea of eating for free!!  It was so much fun though!!

Let's do this!!

This girl loves her Daddy!!

7 Years

So in June Matt and I celebrated 7 years of marriage.  It doesn't seem that long, but then when you hear that marriages last an average of 7 years, I am thankful that we now get to add to lengthening that average!!  God has provided for us and even now we stand amazed at all that He has done for us.  We have been through a lot, but I am so very thankful that God has blessed me with Matt to walk through it with.  Matt works so hard to provide for our precious family and has made the girls and I such a priority and I truly am blessed to have him as my best friend and husband.  Our girls adore him and he does a great job making sure they feel loved and spending time with all of us.

Matt and I got to go to Charlotte for a few nights to celebrate and the girls got to go spend time with Nanny and Bubby.  We went to a baseball game (where we got free tickets that were amazing), went to the Billy Graham library (which was amazing), went to IKEA, and finally went to Carowinds.  Our hotel was in the heart of downtown in the middle of restaurants and shops and was the perfect place to stay.  We could even walk to the baseball game.  So here are a few pictures of our trip:

VBS

This week was VBS and the girls have LOVED it!!  It amazes me how much Becca has grown up and how much she is JUST LIKE her big sister.  I get to see her during music and she is dancing and clapping and all into it.  I got to hold her and dance with her one day and we had a blast!!  Sarah Anne is soaking up VBS and is showing her knowledge of the Bible which makes my Mama heart proud.  I hear from so many that she knows her Bible story and can answer all the questions.  As I was writing in my prayer journal for her, all I could do was praise God that she already has so much of His Word hidden in her heart.  Although Matt and I strive to teach her, she learns at school, Mission Friends, Awanas, church it is such a gift from God and the desire He has put in her heart.  So I took several pictures on my phone, but here are at least a few from the camera.

The silly girls wouldn't stand up

Ready for Day 1!!

Becca was TERRIFIED to stand by the minion

The girls and I hiked up to the top of the church's balcony to take a picture on the row where I sit with my group!!

Father's Day Family Reunion

Father's Day weekend we went to Beaufort to be with my Dad's family and to see Gigi and Pops.  I have to say I am very blessed to be apart of such a wonderful, big family.  The girls enjoyed being there and then we got to stay in a hotel with a pool which they really enjoyed.  It was also exciting because Matt finally got to officially meet all of Daddy's brothers and sisters and my sweet family got to meet my sweet Aunt Betty.  So here is the blog and Aunt Betty's blog debut...
