A Special Blog and Trip

After Thanksgiving, the girls and I were able to go with Mama and Daddy on a very special trip to visit a very special lady.  My girls are very blessed with their Grandparents, but God has also blessed them to have amazing relationships with their great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and great-aunts.  We were able to visit Aunt Betty and had the most wonderful time there.  The girls loved riding their bikes, learned new games, danced, visited beautiful monuments (which led to lots of discussions about those who have sacrificed so much to our country), visited new cities, and overall made lots of memories with Aunt Betty.  It was an amazing trip and my girls absolutely love their Aunt Betty and love that she is their Gigi's precious sister.

The Scrabble game got really serious with perhaps some cheating!

We also got to stop and eat lunch with Uncle Paul.

A cute diner in Swansboro.  An Elvis cutout was in the bathroom and would talk to you.  Becca sent everyone into the bathroom because she loved it!

Thanksgiving 2018

Thanksgiving was spent with the girls and I at Mama's and Daddy's for a week.  Matt ran the Spartan race and so we went up with him and then he bounced back and forth to work and we enjoyed time there.  We were able to take the girls on a field trip to Cowpens, we went late night shopping with the girls and Mama at Belk, set up Mama and Daddy's tree, had an amazing Thanksgiving, headed back home Thanksgiving night and then went Black Friday shopping here.  It was wonderful and we love being with Ninnie and Bubby!

She also loves her kitty.  When she wakes up, she is a grouch until she brushes her hair and pets the cat.
