Apple Picking

So, I thought we were crazy, but Emily, Laura and I braved a 2 hour road trip with 7 kids (6 and under) to North Carolina to apple pick at Sky Top.  It turned out to be an AMAZING trip.  After about 5 bathroom stops we made it and all the kids did great.  We thought we'd be doing good to stay for an hour, but the kids were so entertained we lasted several hours.  We started with the apple picking, then had a picnic lunch, played on the playgrounds, went to the bamboo forest, the petting zoo, and ate yummy apple cider donuts.  It was such a fun day and I was so thankful that we were brave enough (and crazy enough) to brave it.  So, if you want a really fun road trip I highly recommend Sky Top!
