Life with the Normans: September 2014

Pre-K

I cannot believe that my big girl is in Pre-K!! We went last Wednesday to meet her teacher and then she officially started today. To a degree it makes me sad that she is so big, but at the same time I am thrilled to see the girl that she is becoming and the plans that God has for her!! I am so not crafty or cute, but I did make a sign with a few things about her. She has Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Siemers for her teachers and she said that when she grows up she wants to be a drummer. She does have a love for music and loves to drum on everything including the drum set Nanny and Bubby found her!! She amazes me at how much she loves to learn. We have continued our "school" time while Becca naps and she reads well and knows her addition facts through 3s. I am looking forward to her learning more about writing this year since that is the one thing I have a hard time teaching her myself. So here are the pictures of my "Friendly Frog". (Which is so fun because my classes were always the "Norman Frogs."

Labor Day

This past Labor Day we decided to go to the Chapin parade which was a lot of fun!! The girls LOVED the parade and collecting candy. Becca proudly waved to everything that came by and at the end Sarah Anne got the camera and decided she needed pictures of the floats, especially the ones with princesses (pageant winners). Grandma's Birthday

We got to travel to Columbus to celebrate my Grandmother's 75th birthday!! It was wonderful seeing family, watching the girls play with cousins, and enjoying Aunt Alice's delicious pound cake!! If you know Aunt Alice, any dessert made by her is a treat!! So here are our pictures from our fun trip!!
